Have Your Say on the New A249 Slip Road at Key Street
Borden Parish Council would like to hear from residents about their experiences using the new slip road from Key Street onto the A249. Now that the new layout has been in operation for some time, we are keen to understand how it is working for residents.
We would welcome your feedback on the following:
▪ Is the new slip road working better than the previous arrangement?
▪ Has it improved your journey times or ease of access to the A249?
▪ Has the opening of Maidstone Road to the new roundabout had any impact on Chestnut Street and School Lane?
▪ Have you experienced any issues or concerns when using it?
▪ Are there particular times of day when problems occur?
▪ Do you have any suggestions for improvements?
Your comments will help the Parish Council build a picture of residents' experiences and identify any recurring concerns.
All feedback received will be shared by the Parish Council with Kent County Council Highways for consideration.
Please either leave your comments on the Parish Council's Facebook post, or email the Clerk at
